Marta Čustić

I transform brands from "who are you?" to "I would die pay good money for that.”

Brand designer. Reluctant hiker. Professional cat psychic (I wish).

I believe your entire brand should feel like you.
Bold. Human. Outrageously Unique.
Because that’s what makes your brand completely unforgettable.

" Can you hear me SCREAMING all the way from the US?!

- NATT, WINSTON & CO.

It looks soooooooo gorgeous! First impression is I’m OBSESSED.

"You are the freaking best. It’s so perfect…

- KALIE, VILLAGE MOTHERHOOD COMPANY

it's giving me ALL the feels being able to imagine all of this now in the space.
ACTUAL tears.”

“ I cannot be happier with our work together so far. It has been fun, collaborative, considerate and curious. Stoked (pun intended) to see where this all goes.

- Mariah, All Parts Welcome

Custom is the only language I speak.

I know you’re not tossing trust fund money at this business — you’re investing your actual hard-earned cash. And I give the biggest damn about creating a brand that matches that energy.

I do not do: fluff, filler, one-size-fits-all.
And lord-help-me, I DEFINITELY do not do branding in a day.

With me, you get custom, unique, one-of-a-kind. You get memorable.

I’m here to make your people feel something. Because if your audience doesn’t feel it, they sure as hell won’t remember it.

Grunge, pencil sketching, and disappointing dad.

My athletic career peaked at a ‘96 participation trophy for inter school sports (and promptly killed my father’s olympic soccer dreams for me).

So I spent my angsty teen years being … angsty.

I wore Doc Martens and smudged eyeliner as I sketched endless illustrations to Silverchair.

Turns out … my illustrations were pretty damn good. I graduated from Zagreb's Faculty of Graphic Arts (a fancy schmancy graphic design school) in 2009. Dad was proud.

Armed with those badass credentials, I freelanced for years, creating kickass brands for the coolest people around the globe. Dad was proud again.
In 2017, I gave birth to my husband's mini me. (And no amount of pride Dad ever had in me could match the love he had for my son.)

I officially started Studio Stoked In 2019.  And yes, if you think I’m crazy for starting a business during the terrible two's … you assume my insanity correctly.

And I bring every luscious ounce of it to my projects.

These days, you’ll find me taking care of the wild turtles around my house and going on one of those reluctant hikes.

It's Australian for unreasonably, properly thrilled. Not "happy with the outcome" thrilled. Jump-around-the-kitchen thrilled. That's the only acceptable result here.

Easier to say than Čustić (it's CHOO-STICH, since you asked). More importantly, it's Australian for that specific kind of excited you can't fake. Which is exactly how this work should feel.

I'm not hanging around Bells Beach waiting for a set. But stoked is that bone-deep, can't-wipe-the-grin-off-your-face feeling when everything clicks. That's what we're here for.

Why I named her Stoked.

let's work together
It is the literal worst to drop a few grand on a professional and immediately get hit with homework.

So I don’t do that to you. I refuse to make you write a dissertation on your brand.

Because that’s *my* job.

When we work together, I ask the right questions, dig deep, and keep going until we hit that glorious moment where we lock eyes and go, “OMFG, that’s it.”

It’s a collaboration: your spirit with my skill.

Also included in every service:
  • Wine
  • Bad jokes
  • Defenses of Meghan Markle

Probably the best thing about working with me?

I’ll never send you a long-ass questionnaire.

Other non-important things I demand you know about me.

  • I have an Aussie accent that will absolutely derail our discovery call for at least 3 minutes while you try to place it. (North Americans love me.)

  • I still know all the words to "Mysterious Girl” by Peter Andre.

  • I'm left-handed, which means I smudge everything I write and can't use normal scissors.

  • I play bass with the confidence of someone who practiced exactly twice and called it a career

  • I’m old enough to have killed many Tamagotchi

  • I don’t do TikTok because, well, read that last bullet point again.

“Marta is amazing to work with! She was highly responsive throughout the process and guided us towards a complete brand overhaul that is clean, crisp, and very creatively captures our identity as a community makerspace. I'm excited to continue working with Marta on additional brand work for Asmbly!”

 Not you, the other ones.
Actually yes, you too. Your packaging is being judged in three seconds by someone who doesn't care how hard you worked on it.
The cheaper quote isn't cheaper. It's just a way of paying twice.
